Mountain Meadow

You can almost hear the trickle of the little creek in this peaceful, high mountain meadow.

This mother doe and her fawn are lying down in a bed of Lupine, Indian Paintbrush and Arrowleaf Balsamroot.

Lupine and Warbler


This larger than life floral of Lupine is paired with a little warbler.
It's immense detail puts you in the middle of these beautiful purple flowers.

A Feast for the Eyes


This original painting titled" A Feast for the Eyes" features a colorful Mountain Ash tree loaded with crimson berries. I saw this tree full of American Robins, gorging themselves on the fruit. The historic cabin which belonged to the famed Joaquin Miller, and is part of the Grant County Museum in Canyon City Oregon.

This Bobcat is sitting in the cottonwoods triumphant over his catch.

This majestic bull elk is bedded down beneath the protection
of an old Juniper tree, as a snow storm approaches.
In the distance is featured the Eastern Oregon landmark, Field's Peak.

This original, little cottontail painting is titled "Edge of the Briar".
